Story #24 is about SSM’s longstanding experience serving municipal clients.

Municipal engineering has been a core part of SSM’s business since our founding. In fact, from 1932 to 1961, when Mr. Spotts served as Owner and President of Walter E. Spotts and Associates, the firm provided consulting engineering services for nearly 40 municipalities.

What's special now is that all aspects of our firm provide services to our municipal clients - not just the civil engineering team; from roads and streets to water/wastewater treatment to lighting, buildings, and energy services.

Today we serve 39 different municipalities in 6 different counties (pictured). Some of our municipal clients we've been proud to serve since the 1970s.
