Spotts, Stevens and McCoy (SSM) a family-owned, regional engineering, environmental and surveying firm announces Kate Lyons, Graduate Geologist, has recently earned her LEED® Green Associate accreditation. Kate is a member of the Energy and Sustainability Services Team at SSM and works on a range of projects, including strategic energy and sustainability planning, energy assessments, K-12 education programs, and LEED certification. She also works with the City of Philadelphia’s Energy Office to provide energy database and LEED documentation support. She has a background in sustainability leadership and outreach from her past work with the Temple University Office of Sustainability. Kate is a recent graduate of Temple University with a BS in Geology, Environmental Studies Minor, and GIS Certificate.
