Master Planning - Project designer in Master Planning four public parks owned and maintained by Wyomissing Borough.  This project consisted of designing a variety of Conceptual Master Plans for each park area, meeting with Borough staff and the Park and Recreation Board, and refining the Concept Plans until the content of each park met the objectives of the Borough.  This process will serve as the basis for long range recreation space planning and future construction plans for the Borough park system. 

Happy Hollow Park - SSM worked closely with the Borough staff in retaining the old charm feel of the stately park while updating the active recreation areas, playgrounds space, and passive components of the park.   This project followed and was based upon the Conceptual Master Plan created for the Borough.   The finished product contains modern facilities for a wide variety of users. The park contains several existing and grand stone picnic pavilions, restroom facilities, a main street thoroughfare connecting all elements of the park, a paved play area, basketball courts, tennis half-court,  a large terraced tot lot playground area, and a little league/youth softball field.
